The mysterious rock weighs 137 tons, anyone can move

Perched atop a rock much wider than it is and in a unique position, Trembling Rock can make even the weakest person on Earth look like the strongest in the world.

The famous Trembling Rock in the Huelgoat forest, northeastern France, is a 7-meter-long, 137-ton block of granite that anyone can move on their own, as long as they know how to push it.

Huelgoat Forest is home to many great rocks and geological wonders, but Trembling Rock is by far the most famous of them all.

The rectangular rock was so large and heavy that no one could hope to move it on its own, yet anyone, thin or weak, could gently move the rock up and down by pushing in the right place.

Just by choosing that unique position, standing under the top of the stone, gently leaning back, anyone can move the giant stone a little. This makes anyone who touches it feel like becoming the strongest person in the world lifting a giant stone.

Of course, not everyone who comes here for the first time knows about the secret of the stone and this has become fun for the children.

Some local children often watch tourists try to move this giant stone, because they don't know the secret, most often give up. At this point, the children revealed the secret to the curious for a few cents.

Also known as Logan Rock, Trembling Rock becomes one of the main reasons why so many people visit Huelgoat.

The forest is home to many interesting landmarks, but none can match Trembling Rock in popularity. After all, how many of them can make you look like the strongest person in the world?

Weighing no less than 137 tons and taller than any human, Trembling Rock must not budge, no matter how much anyone pushes it, but because of its precarious position, it cannot be done.
