The oldest North American giraffe died

Tamu, the oldest female giraffe in North America, died at the zoo in Cheyenne, Colorado because it was too old.

The giraffe before death has lived healthy for the past 32 years, the zoo staff has informed the press.

Tamu's health has deteriorated rapidly and eventually died even though zoo staff sought medical treatment.

"It's the most beautiful giraffe on the planet. It's very smart and likes to take selfies, " said Jason Bredahl, zoo manager.

Tamu was first brought to the zoo in April 2013. Throughout his life, Tamu was born after another giraffe and had 31 "great grandchildren" born of six baby giraffes.

"Tamu is really smart. Before that, Tamu was only able to take care of his hooves, but then he suddenly died and everyone was very surprised," said Amy Schilz, a squirrel of Tamu giraffes. share.
