Nyora, dubbed the deadly ship, could be the bottom of the sea of ​​14 people missing in the shipwreck 102 years ago.

After years of research, Australian diver Steve Saville and his colleagues finally found Nyora , the legendary steamship missing during a storm a century ago, carrying with it 14 sailors.

The tragic story told by two survivors - now dead. Most of the crew died in a storm when it was only about 50km from Cape Jaffa, South Australia.

At that time, Nyora - a steam-powered tugboat - was on duty to drag an American sailboat named Astoria out of Cape Jaffa. When the storm struck, the sailors had to cut the zipper to avoid the sinking of two ships. However, in the end, the sea god still decided to drag one of the two ships to the bottom of the sea. It was the ship pulling Nyora.

Only two sailors survived by clinging to the top of an unhealthy lifeboat. However, they tried to fight the sea all night to get to the nearby Margaret Brock coral lighthouse . At a distance from the shore, the lighthouse keepers found two sailors in distress and tried to cross the boat to rescue.

Knowing the story, Steve Saville diver went to find the descendants of the survivors, linking stories to try to zone the shipwreck. Unexpectedly, he and his colleagues discovered that the ghost ship was hidden only 50 meters from the water after 3 years of searching.

It is still unclear whether the wreck of the 14-man crew died on the remains. The wreck of the ship will continue to be surveyed.
