The piece of orange orange turned purple after only one night, the scientific community did not understand why

The orange is orange - this is well known. But in Australia, oranges can turn purple and no one understands why.

The orange is named after the orange, or the orange is called an orange because it is orange? This is not clear. Just know that the orange must be orange, that is a non-immutable rule.

Bewildered not knowing the orange or orange fruit first? The answer has been validated by the British
But in Australia recently there was a very rare event. A Queenslander has seen firsthand the orange zone she cut into color . purple within 1 night.

Specifically, Neti Moffitt cut off an orange for his child. At first, everything was normal. The orange has no difference, still the color, the taste. It's just that the baby doesn't eat it all, so two pieces are left in the kitchen.

Then the next morning, two pieces of orange came across a strange phenomenon: The two orange pieces were no longer orange, but turned purple. You can see right in the picture below.

Two orange pieces turn purple after just 1 night.

"That strange violet-blue color continued to spread, covering the orange after the next day," Moffitt said.

"Everyone was nervous and wanted to find the answer, but failed."

As Moffit describes, the orange zones are like being embedded in an ink tank. And that transformation did not stop at the orange zones in the kitchen.

"I tried searching the trash, watching the pieces my son ate, and they turned purple," she said.

"I was afraid he would get infected. But luckily, it's fine."

The orange zones that were eaten and thrown into the trash also turned purple.

It turns out this is not the first time Australians have seen this phenomenon. In 2015, a mother also noticed that the orange zone had turned purple after a period of time. However, the cause of the phenomenon has never been found.

Going back to Moffitt's case, she called the authorities to inspect the orange zone, to find the real cause for this strange phenomenon.

"The inspector seemed very excited. He said that such a case happened three years ago."

The orange pieces are then taken to the Queensland Health Service Center for assessment. Both the knife and the knife sharpener are also recorded. They need to make sure that everything that comes in contact with the orange is normal, to determine what is the mechanism that causes this strange discoloration.

Some people believe that this discoloration may be caused by chemicals in the house.

It is still unclear how the inspection results are. Just know that 3 years ago, a similar assessment was done. And so far, this is still considered a strange phenomenon without any solution.

"Trace tests of food colors have been done, but nothing has been found. There are also no signs of iodine (iodine - a purple chemical) " - quoted in the report of the Center of Health Health Queensland school.

Some people believe that this discoloration may be caused by chemicals in the house. Others were concerned, not sure if the seller gave anything to the orange. But in the end both are not, and the mystery is still there.

"It's really weird. We haven't seen any such phenomenon yet. In nature there's no such thing" - Andrew Harty - an Australian expert shared in 2015.
