Herald Sun said, the Snappy crocodile lives in the Roaming Reptiles zoo - a reptile farm - in Australia. Currently its body length is about 2.5m.

Tracey Sandstrom, a zoo employee, said that Snappy used to break the water purifier in his cage.

"A few weeks later I noticed that Snappy's skin turned orange. But it seems that the new skin color didn't have any effect on the crocodile. Snappy still ate and did everything as usual " , Sandstrom to speak.

A crocodile expert found that Snappy's skin color changed due to something in the water - like iron, tannin or red algae - clinging to the skin, then oxidized when the skin was dry. The expert said the change in skin color does not affect Snappy's health and its skin color will return to normal in the near future.
