The power plant in the bag
A graduate student at the University of Iowa designed a special handbag for women. The bag is capable of powering small electronic devices, such as cell phones.
The bag is charging the cell phone
In black and rectangular, the bag is covered with solar panels. These panels are like an extremely thin film, separated by a white line. The handle is made of transparent plastic.
Hynek's bag is designed to provide power to any small USB device, including mobile phones, personal music players, global positioning devices, recorders, and small cameras. In addition, the bag also has pads to protect the inside as well as the zipper.
Mark Bryden predicted that the idea could be applied to other types of laptops . There are backpacks that turn solar energy into electricity while another produces electricity through user movement .
Hynek also put the technology on a hat. He wants to sell the bag for those who are interested in protecting the environment. Although the bag material is expensive, he hopes to keep the retail price under $ 300.
