According to Cui, the robot can help traditional restaurant owners in China deal with rising labor costs. He has provided a large number of robots to more than 3,000 restaurants throughout China.

"A chef doing the same job in a restaurant usually requires a salary of about 40,000 yuan ($ 6,400) a year, whereas this robot was bought for only 10,000 yuan ($ 1,600) and it worked very well. " Xinhua quoted Zhao, a Pho restaurant owner, as saying. He also said that every time the robot has problems, the technical staff to handle timely.

Not only cheap, chef robots can do the same thing as chopping noodles, dropping into a pot of water and finishing a bowl of delicious pasta no less than a real chef.

Cui received his first patent in 2010 with the invention of a mechanical arm. The boss of the robot chef army has now received 4 patents.
