The robot moves, climbing like real spiders
Parrot, a French robotics company, will bring to this year's CES a number of unique devices. Among them are Sumo and MiniDrone . Both can be controlled via smartphone.
Parrot launches two new microphones controlled by smartphones.
Mini Drone
MiniDrone is a miniature version of the AR Drone robot . But MiniDrone in addition to the ability to fly also and can run underground at high speed, climbing the wall or ceiling. MiniDrone is only about one tenth the size of the AR Drone so it is extremely flexible and can be stored in a bag easily.
However, compared to the AR Drone, the new robot was removed from the camera. In addition, the two wheels allow the MiniDrone to spin around the ground, fly and run along the walls or ceilings.
Sumo
Sumo is also a two-wheeled robot but can only move under the ground. Sumo is equipped with a front camera, like the predecessor AR Drone. While traveling at high speed, Sumo can brake suddenly to change direction, or jump into the air at altitudes up to 80cm.
Parrot has yet to announce the launch date and price of two Sumo and MiniDrone robots.
