The second homemade plane of 'two rice' Binh Duong took off
On September 12, "two rice" Bui Hien (62 years old, residing in Di An town, Binh Duong province) officially announced the second homemade airplane called "Dream" with a fairly stable flying ability at High test about 2m . On the tail of the plane, Mr. Hien did not forget to write the words "Bui Hien" to confirm the brand of "child" he " gave birth" to.
Bui Hien is a well-known figure for inventing Bui Hien helicopter 1. After the success of this aircraft, Mr. Hien immediately started to build a new aircraft, adding modern technology and improving the limited points on the first aircraft.
Mr. Hien next to the aircraft named "Dream".
According to the "father" of the "Dream" aircraft, the product weighs 390kg, excluding fuel tanks weighing 15kg and the pilot's weight. With the current engine, the aircraft is actually capable of lifting up to 600kg, but the total weight above is currently just over 450kg.
"Although the aircraft can fly at 200km / h but during the test, I only flew at 2m at a speed of about 40 - 50km / h. What I am impressed with is this plane. very stable flying, " Mr. Hien said.
In fact, this is not the first time Mr. Hien has put the "Dream" plane into trial. In previous times, airplanes could fly about 25cm above the ground.
"The previous flight, my hand is still very hard, must be tightly packed and dare not pull the station up high. Now it is great, I want to fly as high as you want," Mr. Hien said proudly.
However, according to Hien, in order to create a proper helicopter, all components must be thoroughly handled. In particular, propellers, main engines, control disks and tail motors, . are important factors. However, the control plate and tail engine on the "Dream" did not meet the requirements that he proposed, but the wing itself was quite heavy compared to the standard. Therefore, the height of 2m is the acceptable goal in this "child" .
He quietly practiced flying for 6 months before announcing the "Dream" to the media.
In particular, in order to get valuable footage of the "Dream" flight test, Mr. Hien spent 6 months flying with about 30 minutes / day. In the future, if allowed by the authorities to import control motors and disks from aerospace manufacturing companies and accessories, Mr. Hien promises to create a more complete product.
Mr. Hien said that during the "Dream" flight test, he was recorded at least once by the authorities. However, with his passion, he continued to spend many months quietly practicing without announcing to the media. Accordingly, in 6 consecutive months, every 7 am, he was present at the training ground to check the equipment and lubricant, then flew for about 10 minutes / time, lasting until 8:30 on the same day.
"The plane is now smooth and smooth, no need to edit anything. I just need to practice to get used to being able to pull the throttle even higher. The problem is that the authorities have granted permission to I fly or not, " said Bui Hien.
During flight practice, Mr. Hien flew the "Dream" test with both flying and flying items. In particular, flying is a difficult challenge that he needs months of training but still can not be called smoothly.
Mr. Hien is very proud of this homemade aircraft.
Talking about the "Dream" name for the second test plane, Mr. Hien said: "My dream has now become a reality, but I want to do more. I plan to installing an insecticide spraying system into the abdomen of the aircraft to serve agriculture, of course, I want to continue to fly a lot more, what I lack now is too little flight time. "It is, I believe it is possible to pull the flight station higher".
It is expected that on the afternoon of September 13, Mr. Hien will install an insecticide spraying system for the "Dream" aircraft to announce the official image of this aircraft with the media, then, the weight of the aircraft increase by about 20-30kg.
