Facing such urgent need, the topic selected two rice varieties, P376 and PC10, to build two models in 2 districts of Binh Giang and Ninh Giang with the scale of 25ha and 115 households.

In the season of P376 rice variety with a growth time of 110-115 days, PC10 rice variety has a growth time of 100-105 days, suitable for high and high soil. As for PC10 rice variety, due to its shorter growing time, it is possible to arrange transplanting at the foot of the field to release the land early to plant winter crops.

Two varieties have average tree height, good resistance to spill, high yield potential; good quality rice, long grain rice, inside (from 6.7-6.87mm).

The results show that 2 varieties are suitable in the crop condition, 100% of the households have productivity of over 48 ha / ha; productivity of over 50 quintals / ha reaches from 68.75 to 82.09%. 25ha of P376 and PC10 rice varieties bring about VND 78 million profit, contributing to raising income for farmers.

The effectiveness of cultivation model of P376 and PC10 rice varieties showed a marked reduction in cost of spraying pesticides compared to the varieties being popularized in the localities and contributed to the ecological balance and reduction of work. bad effects of pesticides on living environment.
