Heidi , the name of a two and a half year old animal, was raised at Leipzig zoo in Germany. It currently has more than 65,000 fans on Facebook.
Der Spiegel said Heidi became famous after some of Bild's reporters photographed animals in Leipzig zoo. After the photos appeared in the newspaper, they quickly attracted the attention of public opinion.
It was once picked up by Heidi and its ' sister ' Naira outside an animal rescue center in North Carolina, USA. They were then taken to Germany in May last year.
This is the latest animal to become famous in Germany. Earlier, the octopus Paul had become a star by predicting the results of all competitions in the 2010 World Cup.
A musician named Stefan Langner composed a song about Heidi and three girls who performed the song. When Langner's song was posted on YouTube , many people visited it to listen.
