"The symbols on it are very unique and obviously have a meaning," said archaeologist Nikolai Ovcharov. He said he received the stone from a private collector who found it 20 years ago.
The stone plate, which has a size of about 3 cm, has 5 separate symbols, each symbol consists of 2 components."It's the version of the first writing style," Ovcharov said.
Two similar stones from the fifth millennium BC are also found in Bulgaria many years ago. It is thought that these carvings, though fairly simple, belong to the first type of writing.
