This special bracelet has been found in the Altai Mountains since 2008. Researchers have taken photographs to recreate the beauty of a green stone ring dating to 40,000 years old.
Experts have spent many years studying the ring and claiming that it is a particularly rare artifact , holding important information about the pre -processing skills of prehistoric people. The bracelet has shown that prehistoric people who once lived in Siberia have more advanced skills than scientists once knew.
On the ring with a small hole was skillfully 'drilled' with high accuracy. This drill hole can only be made with a puncher that can spin at high speed.
How can prehistoric people make holes drilled in this bracelet?
This rare special ring must belong to a woman of status in society. The bracelet has been carefully polished and has a pendant threaded through the small hole to form a decorative detail for the bracelet.
The hole in the ring is 0.8cm in diameter. The speed for the puncher to create this drill hole must be quite high with the rotation being done by hand but with a very small degree of eccentricity. Previously, prehistoric people lived 40,000 years from us which were not ' expected ' to hold such advanced techniques.
This special bracelet is currently on display at the Siberian Museum of History and Culture in Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia. In the picture is Denisova cave - where the ancient stone ring was found.
The director of the Siberia Museum of History and Culture said: 'Techniques of craftsmen making this bracelet are perfect. At first we thought it was a period closer to us, but it turned out that the ring dates back to 40,000 years. Each jewelry has a spiritual meaning - especially for prehistoric people. The necklace, the bracelet for them is not only jewelry but also considered exorcism, helping them to avoid evil spirits'.
Inside the cave where the ring was found, the remains of prehistoric people were found.
Anatoly Derevyanko, director of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology - said: ' The bracelet is amazing. Placed under sunlight, it can reflect sunlight. At night, when placed in front of the fire, its color becomes more impressive. This bracelet must not be a jewelry for use in everyday life. I believe that this beautiful and sophisticated bracelet is only used on very special occasions. '
Previously, in the Denisova cave, people also found bones of mammoths and rhinos . The temperature inside Denisova cave is all year round at 0oC - an ideal temperature to preserve what prehistoric time left.
