The winter is unusually warm in northern Europe

Abnormal phenomena are happening on Scandinavian Peninsula - instead of white winter snow, warm weather makes flowers bloom for the second time of the year and white bears run on the yellow leaf carpet.

In the midst of the often crowded days, there were birds singing and gardens blooming in areas that would have been frozen.

"Some flowers like roses have bloomed for the second time in a year," AP quoted the creator Mats Rosenberg, from Sweden.

Weather experts say this fall is the warmest autumn in Scandinavia, when winter is delayed by more than a month in some areas like Sodankyla town, 130km from the North Pole. A spokesman for the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Pauli Jokinen, said snow began to fall on November 17, the latest in 100 years.

According to the Swedish Meteorological Agency, the average temperature measured in this country is 7 degrees C higher than the average every year.

However, animals in Lapland, right next to the North Pole, still change their hair to white instinctively every winter.

"It's really strange, white animals erase in the middle of the golden leaf of autumn. The snow doesn't fall, making Lapland darker," said Viljo Pesonen the town's mayor.

Abnormal weather makes many ski resorts closed, snow sports tournaments are also canceled. The world cup for skiing must move from Levi, Finland to Austria because there is no snow.
