The Wright brothers, including Orville and Wilbur, have pioneered the creation of a flying machine that we call airplanes. More than 100 years ago, Orville and his brother Wilbur worked diligently on research, experimentation, and risk to create a landmark product for human history. The plane helps people to move farther and faster, the world seems to shorten. Here are some historical photos of the Wright Brothers' first days and flights.

Wilbur Wright drove a large glider down the Big Kill Devil Hill hillside, in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, 10/10/1902.This roller coaster model is the third generation of Wright Brothers' glider versions, with a pullable wing for steering, a vertical steering wheel on the back, and a high-altitude rudder at front.
From the left, Orville and Wilbur Wright, portraits taken in 1905, when they were 34 and 38 years old.
On the left is Dan Tate, and on the right is Wilbur Wright, dropping a 1902 glider, on September 19, 1902.
The glider was distorted, due to the wind blow, on Hill of the Wreck, 10/10/1900.
Orville Wright and Edwin H. Sines, neighbors and childhood friends, welded frames behind the Wright bike shop.
Starting to drop the roller coaster, Wilbur is running to the left holding a roller coaster (improved with a vertical rudder), Orville in the middle of a roller coaster, and on the right is Dan Tate, at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, 10/10/1902.
The photo was taken from the side after Wilbur made the right turn with the roller coaster from the hill No.2, when the right wing of the ship nearlyhit the ground, October 24, 1902.
Wright Flyer I aircraft, assembled in 1903, viewed from the front. This is the Wright Brothers' first motorized aircraft. The aircraft has 2 propellers with a diameter of nearly 2.5m driven by a dedicated engine of 12 horsepower.
Wilbur Wright checked the Wright Flyer's damage level after a failed attempt, December 14, 1903, in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
First flight: fly 36m in 12 seconds, December 17, 1903.This is the first human flight with an engine-driven, controllable and constantly flying machine.Orville Wright is located in the control area, lying prone on the lower wing with hips in the area where the gauze is needed to control the wing.Wilbur Wright ran beside him to help balance the plane, in his photo he had just released his hand when the right wing wing was raised.Runways, wing supports, wire boxes, and other items needed to prepare for the test flight remain behind the aircraft.Orville Wright set up the camera and John T. Daniels squeezed the rubber ball, releasing the shutter.
Wilbur and Orville Wright with the second aircraft, at Huffman Prairie, near Dayton, Ohio, 05/1904.
Orville's 41st flight flew to a height of more than 18m;at Huffman Prairie, Dayton, Ohio, September 29, 1905.
The aircraft was edited in 1905, with the driver's seat and another seat for the other, on the way to take off in Dill Devil Hills, 1908.
US military arrived at the scene of a plane crash to rescue pilot Orville Wright and passengers, September 17, 1908.The plane crashed during a flight to perform at a military base, when the lack of Selfridge was injured and died, it was also the first fatal accident with a military aircraft.Orville still lived but broke his left leg and 4 ribs.
