There are again malicious code

Symantec recently warned of the emergence of a new malicious malware attack on a series of security flaws in Microsoft products and Symantec itself.

Spybot.acyr contains malicious code that attacks up to 7 different security errors. There are five security flaws in Microsoft's Windows operating system and a bug in Symantec's enterprise antivirus application.

Symantec confirmed that the security bug used by Spybot to attack user PCs has been fixed by the company since May.

Of the five security flaws in the Windows operating system, there were errors that were discovered and fixed three years ago and include errors that were discovered and fixed in August this year.

" In the present time we recorded that the data stream going through port 2967 increased abnormally. This situation happens most with European domains - .eu domain names ," Symantec said.

SANS Institute of Internet Storm Center also noted the above abnormalities and discovered a backdoor trojan that also took advantage of attacking systems that were not fully installed with patches.

Symantec recommends that users should quickly install patches as soon as possible. If it is not possible to install, it is recommended to block all data outputs through port 2967.

BOT software is a form of malicious software distributed by hackers targeting the user's PC through security errors. The ultimate goal of hackers is to take control of a remote PC - or to "abduct" that PC - to build a network of widespread PCs for spamming or to Attack any target on the Internet.

The sign of PC infection with BOT software is the PC speed and the speed of Internet connection will be much slower. Users should regularly update security applications on the system against these threats.
