Things you don't know about the fake sun phenomenon

The fake Sun phenomenon or the Ghost Sun, whose scientific name is parhelion (plural is parhelia). This is an atmospheric phenomenon, which is a bright spot, often found on the edges of the Halo next to the Sun.

The fake Sun may appear as a blob of light on the left or right of the sun, 22 ° position and at the same distance on the horizon like the Sun, in the ice halo. They can be seen anywhere in the world in any season, but they are not always clear or bright. The fake Sun is most visible when the sun is low.

The fake Sun phenomenon occurs when high sunlight passes through ice crystals in the air. In addition to the true Sun in the central position, the observer also saw reflections on either side.
