Things you don't know about the fake sun phenomenon
The fake Sun phenomenon or the Ghost Sun, whose scientific name is parhelion (plural is parhelia). This is an atmospheric phenomenon, which is a bright spot, often found on the edges of the Halo next to the Sun.
The fake Sun may appear as a blob of light on the left or right of the sun, 22 ° position and at the same distance on the horizon like the Sun, in the ice halo. They can be seen anywhere in the world in any season, but they are not always clear or bright. The fake Sun is most visible when the sun is low.
The sun shines brightly on Fargo, North Dakota, USA.Notice that the sun halo has a bright spot that is the fake sun.
The fake Sun phenomenon occurs when high sunlight passes through ice crystals in the air. In addition to the true Sun in the central position, the observer also saw reflections on either side.
This phenomenon occurs when the temperature is lower than -30 degrees Celsius, the air is high in moisture and ice crystals.
Crystal halo is seen when the Sun is near the horizon, on the same horizontal plane of the observer and ice crystals. When light penetrates the ice crystal, it is bent at an angle of about 22 degrees before reflecting to the eye.

The fake sun was formed when the hexagonal ice crystals in the cirrus clouds were high and cold in very cold weather, because ice crystals drifted in the air at low altitudes. These crystals act as prisms, bending the light rays passing through them. When crystals fall in the air, they are vertically aligned, refracting sunlight in the horizontal direction, so the fake sun appears.

The fake sun is usually a slightly tinged red color on the opposite side of the sun and can be flared with white-blue tails horizontally. The fake sun's tail formed by light passing through the crystal at other angles with the optimal deflection angle.
Just because they formed from ice crystals does not mean that the fake sun can only appear in cold weather. They can appear at all times of the year and everywhere, although they are most visible when the sun is low on the horizon in January, April, August and October. Ice in the atmosphere has many, but they can be seen everywhere and all the time, as long as there are cirrus clouds.
The phenomenon of three suns appeared in Russia.
When the sun rises, the fake sun can really drift off the point of 22 degrees. Finally, the sun climbed to a high enough point, the fake sun completely disappeared.
Ancient Greeks realized that the fake sun was a fairly accurate precursor to the rain. Ice crystals that create halo and fake sun also form cirrus clouds, which form a cloud of clouds that foreshadows warm water condensation.
In addition to the phenomenon of the fake Sun, there is a phenomenon of the fake moon appearing next to the moon and formed by sunlight passing through ice crystals. The false moon, or paraselenae, does not appear as often as the fake sun because they are only seen when the moon shines and they appear at night.
