This morning, Son Son 1 degree, cold price throughout the North

The surge of cold air rushing to the North today will cause a sharp drop in temperature of 3-4 degrees, and ice can occur in high mountains. By 1/2 (December 29) the weather was warming up.

According to the Northern Delta Hydrometeorological Station, this afternoon, the impact of the intensified cold air will cover the entire North and North Central. However, before that, in this morning, the influence of this weather pattern has caused small rain, drizzle, making the whole region's temperature drop sharply.

The peak of Mau Son (Lang Son) recorded this temperature only about 1 degree, Sapa (Lao Cai) nearly 4 degrees this morning, a series of northern mountainous provinces below 10 degrees. Meanwhile, in Hanoi, the temperature in the regions only fluctuates in the range of 10-11 degrees (1-2 degrees lower than the previous days).

This evening, the northern temperature will continue to fall. The cold air was then supplemented, so in the next 3 days, the North and North Central remained cold, high mountains like Mau Son, Sapa could appear frosty.

Only on February 1, December 29, the weather began to warm up. The damaging cold spell that lasted for a month will end.

Beginning on January 2, this cold, cold spell this year has not yet lasted as long as the cold spell of 38 days in 2008 but the intensity is much better. Temperatures in the North and North Central region are constantly below the cold threshold (average daily below 13 degrees). Remarkably, on 12/1, Mau Son peak recorded nearly -4 degrees Celsius, far exceeding the level of -2 degrees of 2008.
