TileToy, a product of two Finnish scientists, Tuomo Tammenpaa and Daniel Blackburn, is an intellectual toy that combines traditional elements and modern technology.
For decades, people have become familiar with rubic and many intellectual games such as forms of chess or puzzle. And now, two Finnish scientists have combined them all into a toy inspired by modern sensor LED technology.
Simple structure
TileToy are square plastic blocks with a diameter of 10cm, on one side of it is a sensor LED display. In the plastic gut is a special microprocessor system that takes two things: executing the players 'commands' through the touch screen and interacting with the computer with a wireless connection.
When the player installs a certain game software into the square through the computer, it will recognize and operate according to the player's intentions. In fact, players have to use multiple blocks linked together through LED screens. And so the function of TileToy is extremely rich!
By combining blocks together, you can make word games or simple calculations to a puzzle game or play different types of flags. LED matrix system (LED matrix system) ensures the highest interaction between the player and the toy.
Stimulates creativity and flexibility
Not only strong in interaction, TileToy's biggest feature is flexibility. Players are completely free to create and develop their games without depending on any factors.
Besides, the game designers also said that when the game is completed, it will be an open project. Players are free to create and share installation software for TileToy.
However, the first direction of the product will be educational games. After the product comes out of the lab, it will be tested in schools as a visual tool but equally attractive to children.
There's no need for a thick, educational and creative guide, TileToy will be an intellectual game of the future. It is not only suitable for all players but also brings aesthetics with a simple but beautiful design. Along with Tuomo and Daniel, TileToy is getting the support of many experts so that it can be released soon.
