Traces the 2,300-year-old village

Israeli archaeologists recently discovered traces of houses and many household belongings belonging to an ancient village 2,300 years ago.

Fox News said the remaining traces of the village were found by archaeologists while exploring in a location expected to build gas pipes. This area is located on the outskirts of Jerusalem, with an area of ​​about 2.4 km 2 .

According to researchers from the Israel Antiquities Agency, the village was abandoned for two centuries in the Second Temple period (Second Temple, 516 BC until 70 AD).

Based on the remaining traces, the team identified it as a small settlement, consisting of many houses built of stone and a system of narrow alleys. The rooms are mainly used to make rooms and store furniture, family activities are done in the yard.

In the excavation area, the team also found some grinding and milling tools made of limestone and basalt; Cooking pot, bottle made of ceramic and 60 coins.

To live, people in this village are said to grow grapes and other crops. However, in order to find better jobs, they may have abandoned the village and migrated to other places.
