The mysterious village 'appears' in the middle of the ghost forest in the sea

A 10,000-year-old stone village was suddenly found in the fossil forest deep below the North Sea in the Atlantic Ocean.

A British research group dived deep into the North Sea, an outlying ocean of the Atlantic Ocean between England, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Their 11-day trip has uncovered a ghostly fossil forest buried thousands of years in the seabed of the region called Doggerland .

Surprise has not stopped there. When taking sediment samples from that mysterious forest, they found strange traces."The number of historical antiquities from that area shows us there must be something else there" - archaeologist Vincent Gattney (University of Bradford, UK), one of the key members of the project , said.

They dredged more carefully to bring out larger specimens from the sea floor. Unexpectedly, the deep sea floor here has traces of Stone Age people. In other words, 10,000 years ago, in the ghost forest we see on the sea today, there is a prehistoric village, where our ancestors lived on hunting and gathering.

This explains the series of spooky objects that fishing and dredging boats in the area have accidentally caught: ancient human bones, stone tools, flint, spears, and works. art carved on the bone .

The reason why the mysterious village appeared deep in the sea was also explained: 12,000 years ago, Doggerland was not the sea ! It was once a large plain that existed between the east coast of England and the continent of Europe. Ancient Doggerland has forests, a huge salt marsh, abundant wild animals and human communities. However, sea water has gradually risen and turned Doggerland into the sea as it is today.
