'Treasure of the creature' under the Antarctic sea

Scientists have found more than 700 new species of marine creatures that were once thought to be too harsh to have life. Among these, there are also sea urchins that eat meat, crustaceans, and animals

An incredible variety of marine life has just been discovered in the deep, dark waters of Antarctica.

Scientists have found more than 700 new species of marine creatures that were once thought to be too harsh to have life. Among these, there are sea urchins, crustaceans, mollusks .

Dr. Katrin Linse, a marine biologist at the British Antarctic Survey Group (BAS), said: 'This discovery is the first step for us to understand the complex relationship between deep ocean and the distribution of marine life '.

According to experts, by comparing newly discovered species in deep sea and more terrestrial species around Antarctica, scientists can better understand the effects of climate change and environment to organisms in evolution.
