US AOptix has introduced an iPhone case that contains biometric sensors capable of turning Apple phones into high-tech identification scanners.
The Stratus system , which includes a phone case and an attached app, can scan the eye, fingerprint, voice, and face of a person, as well as GPS.
This is considered a powerful device for law enforcement and passport control worldwide, soon replacing the existing systems that require laptops to connect to larger scanners.
The application will most likely be sold for $ 199, not including the phone cover.
Earlier, in February, the US Defense Department spent $ 3 million on AOptix to promote the project, according to CNN.
