Turn sign language into text
Sign language can be converted into written information thanks to a new computer program developed by Scottish experts.
Researchers at the University of Aberdeen (Scotland) are designing a computer software that can instantly convert sign language into a readable form on the screen.
The technology, the world's first software in this form, may soon be completed within a year, and is expected to fundamentally change how deaf and mute people communicate with the outside world, Not to mention helping them succeed when looking for a job.

According to the Telegraph newspaper, the technology includes a normal camera to record a person's hand movement, then transfer all that information through a computer program and translate it into text language.
This allows the person on the other side of the screen to understand what the person wants to express without knowing anything about sign language.
This program is called Portable Sign Language Translation software (PSLT), and will be converted into applications on PC, laptop, tablet, smart phone and other portable devices.
