Twisted skyscraper in Chicago (USA)
The city of Chicago has begun to summarize the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava's skyscraper project. The twisted architecture will be over 600m high and will be located near the mouth of the Chicago River on Lake Michigan.
The project blueprint was revealed in May 2005. After that, the details of the changes were added and the new drawing deleted the giant antenna tower expected to be on top of the building, the same hotel and no. commercial space. The shape of the building has been slightly modified to ensure the project is in harmony with the tradition of Chicago skyscrapers.
The Calatrava porcelain architecture has proposed building two small bridges in this area. The first bridge will cross the Chicago River and can rotate to make it easier for the river to flow. It will connect to the commercial center in the building with bike paths on the front of the southern lake. The second bridge in the north will connect the area with DuSable Park. The project also includes adjusting this park site.
