Typhoon Haiyan is heading into Quang Ngai

Talking to PV, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Cuong, head of Song Tu Tay Island said that around 2am this morning, it started to rain and the wind whistled continuously. At about 8.30 am, the maximum wind gusts were more than 133km / h, and the waves were 3 -4m high.

38 people on the island were relocated to safety. 736 fishermen along with 64 fishing boats nearby have visited the island to avoid storms. Despite heavy rain, the military forces are still trying to help some new fishing boats to anchor into a safe place. All fishermen have been taken to the island, providing food to cope with the weather.

Many trees on the island broke down, some houses of people were roofed by the army roofing. All forces on the island have been mobilized to continue reviewing the remaining ships at sea, supporting people to solidify their homes.
