Ugly sharks

Picture 1 of Ugly sharks Speaking of sharks, everyone thinks of the sea spirits with jagged teeth that are always ready to eat any prey, including humans. Therefore, they always have a bad reputation, but they have a "brother" who looks extremely ugly on the outside but is very gentle.

Orectolobus ornatus is a slow shark that lives on the seabed. They camouflage to avoid large fish and also use camouflage to hunt. Perhaps this is one of the most "patience" creatures: Most of the day time Orectolobus ornatus fish stays in the middle of coral and seaweed to wait for bait. Because of their skin color and "plant" shape, it is sometimes difficult for divers to detect that Orectolobus ornatus sharks are squeezing themselves against the seabed.

They catch most of the prey that swim in their range, when night falls, they become flexible again, gliding smoothly on the surface of the seafloor like ghosts, swallowing up all kinds of flatfish. (like flounder), octopus, and mollusks bury themselves in sand.

Sharks also have a decent standing jaw but very modest compared to regular sharks: many small, sharp, sharp teeth, and very strong bites.

These sharks are often harmless to humans, but they are only theoretical, but in fact they have been biting people who are too close or accidentally stepping on them. One special thing is: This type of shark lays a baby (not laying eggs like normal fish). Scientists also know very little about the reproduction of this fish.

Orectolobus ornatus sharks are ugly fishes: flattened bodies, "rooted" meat flapping outwards, making the shape unlike anyone. The beard like roots made them look like torn rags.

This shark lives in the sea of the Western Pacific and waters of Australia. Adult males are about 3m long.
