Expensive bathtub made of rare wood.

This bathtub product was named by Jewel by Fenwick. The price of this bathtub is so high because it is made from fossil wood originating from tropical forests in Indonesia. The block weighs 14 tons, is about 180 million years old.

Fossil wood is a type of wood buried in soil or lava for tens of millions of years. The process of burying makes the slab of wood become petrified, looking outside them like a precious stone.

Extremely rare fossil wood. Along with millions of years, the original wood remains the same shape, structure as before being buried over time.

Fenwick said: "The story behind this beautiful and extremely rare bath shows an impressive path and many difficulties in pursuing the most perfect work of art. Fossil wood is one of the materials. The world's rarest, most beautiful, many people still believe it can help cure ".

Not long ago, marine conservation expert Volker Bassen found a 180,000-year-old fossil shell on the border between Kenya and Tanzania, weighing 373kg. Later, Volker turned this shell into a sink introduced in a Dubai exhibition and sold for $ 373,000.
