Unbelievable but true story: Mother died 107 days still giving birth

A brave mother from Portugal decided to keep the child in her stomach even though she was in danger. When she passed away 107 days, the child was born in a healthy state.

Sandra Pedro - a woman who lived with her son in Bragadas (Portugal) for 8 years. When she realized she was pregnant for the second time, Sandra went to the doctor to receive advice. Here, doctors warned her about the huge risk of being faced during pregnancy. Sandra had previously fought pneumonia, had heart problems, even deep coma. She also underwent kidney surgery. However, the love of children and the desire to become a mother again, the 37-year-old woman decided to take the risk and retain the child.

Although Sandra Pedro knew that he was in danger, he decided not to abort him but to keep the child in his abdomen.

In February 2016, a brain hemorrhage caused Sandra on the verge of death in the intensive care unit. At that time Sandra knew the gender of her child was male but could not continue to see how her belly grew. On February 20, Sandra died. But this death opens up things that have never happened in Portugal and are probably rare in the world. When the 37-year-old woman died, the doctors had an ultrasound scan and found signs of the baby's life in her belly were very good. The baby's heart was strong and beat normally.
