Unique bonsai floating in the air

The team of designers from The Hoshinchu (Japan) has combined technology with bonsai art to create a unique product called "Air Bonsai". Their bonsai trees can fly in the air, even rotating in place.

According to Rocket News 24, the tree is placed on the base of a special magnetic bowl that helps balance the air. While the base is made of white porcelain, the inside has a strong magnet attached to the rotating mechanism. The earth element is essentially a sponge to hold water to the plant and integrate the inner magnet with the opposite pole to the magnet of the substrate.

When the soil and tree are placed above the substrate, magnetic magnetism will keep the plant suspended in the air, about 2cm away from the base to prevent it from falling.

This product has appeared on Kickstarter fundraising site but not cheap price: about 200 to 10,000 USD (from 4.5 million to 224 million).
