In addition, the aircraft also performs the task of measuring sea surface temperature, measuring alluvial deposits at estuaries / sea, mangrove forests, coastal erosion areas, standardizing satellite images and detecting regions. potential fish to serve fishermen.

Talking to reporters, Dr. Pham Ngoc Lang, chairman of the project said, on 25/5, unmanned aircraft "made in Vietnam" has successfully completed the night flight program with 4 flights facing the East Sea. with a journey of 50km, the flight mode is fully automatic. These aircraft are equipped with infrared cameras, cameras with infrared lenses dedicated to night photography for research programs.

On May 26, 2013, at 9 o'clock, these 6 unmanned aircraft continued their planned research program.

Mr. Lang said, the result of successful flight test serving the program 'Tay Nguyen 3' in Da Lat and the results of flight testing for marine scientific research (both flying and night flights) in Nha Trang helped. The research team of the Institute of Space Technology continues to improve the aircraft, put them into mass production for sea-going activities and socio-economic development.
