Update stock price directly via Web
A pilot project of the New York Stock Exchange this year will give Internet users real-time stock prices, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Currently, the NYSE license application has been submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission. If the Commission approves this plan, the NYSE will allow websites to post stock trading prices almost simultaneously with the price list on the New York floor. In return, websites will have to pay to NYSE for $ 100,000 per month.
Once the green light is turned on by the Committee, the program will be able to be deployed right from March, WSJ said.
Both Google search giant and industry-financial news channel CNBC have said they will provide these important data to customers completely free of charge. In addition, NYSE also negotiated with several other Internet service providers such as Yahoo.
Although the world's largest stock exchanges, the NYSE and Nasdaq are still complaining about their refusal to provide real-time stock quotes via the Internet.
