Chance to see this lobster is 1/100 million.

Notably, this is not the first mollusk lobster caught by the Hartley family. Last year, Mr. Hartley got a lobster of the same type, and gave it to an aquarium in Connecticut.

Although the chance of finding a marshmallow lobster is only 1 in 100 million, this rare crustacean seems to be increasingly prolific in coastal waters of the Americas.

The marshmallow lobster caused a stir for the first time after an individual was caught near Canada's Grand Manan Island last summer. This shrimp is special compared to other lobster varieties thanks to the pink-green crust identical to the color of marshmallows.

According to National Geogrphic, the special color of marshmallow lobster is thought to be the result of a genetic mutation or their food ingredients, which mainly depend on the bait of the fisherman, not the initiative. hunt.

However, this is not a happy mutation, this color is very beautiful and outstanding but also makes the shrimp lose camouflage. They will easily become prey to other marine life in the wild.
