Not only possessing advanced machines serving the construction industry, China is also famous for its modern transportation system that amazes the world. Among them, we cannot fail to mention Siduhe - the bridge honored as the highest in the world from 2009 to 2016.

Siduhe is located at an altitude of 496 meters above the water, making many people afraid to look down. At times, photographers have captured the scene of it covered in clouds.

Many experts say that Siduhe is one of the symbols demonstrating the remarkable development of the road and bridge infrastructure system of the country of a billion people.

At the time, the bridge was so tall that its nearest rival in Mexico was 100 meters shorter. It was also 205 meters taller than the Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado.

The Siduhe Bridge opened on November 15, 2009, located about 80km south of the famous Three Gorges of the Yangtze River in Hubei Province, China. It is one of many advanced projects in the final 483km project of the 2,175km-long West Hurong Expressway, connecting Shanghai, Chongqing and Chengdu.

The construction cost of the bridge is about 100 million USD.

Siduhe has 4 lanes and is about 1,222 meters long. It has a structure similar to a common suspension bridge system with H-shaped concrete towers, cable-stayed pillars and a suspension system.

The special thing is that due to the high altitude and difficult terrain, instead of using hot air balloons or helicopters to carry the pilot cable across the valley, the construction team of this bridge launched rockets from one mountain to another . This made Siduhe famous worldwide. It is known that the construction cost of the bridge is about 100 million USD (more than 2.3 trillion VND).

The project shows China's superior construction capabilities.

It is not only a transportation route but also a project that shows China's outstanding construction ability. Standing on the bridge, visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Sidu River as well as experience the feeling of moving at an 'unimaginable' height.
