VDC's website is hacked by hackers?

On the morning of July 27, a reader contacted VietnamNet's hotline, announced the website of the Data Communication and Transmission Company (VDC) at http://home.vnn.vn with signs of being Hackers hacked.

Specifically, in the link sent by e-mail, Nam's readers said that when accessing the address http://home.vnn.vn/scripts/inc/guanyu.html , a picture of General Quan was seen. Van Truong (in the Tam Quoc Dien Nghia story) with the hacker YM nickname left. Mr. Nam said he received this link through a mass messaging friend on Yahoo Messenger.

According to VietNamNet's initial assessment, this is a white-hat hacker who broke into VDC's server system but did not aim for a bad purpose but only to alert the site management unit about their security vulnerability. . The hacker also left the word I'm a Newbie, implying to claim that he has only a "beginner" level of security and hacking.

The above readers also said that they have contacted VDC at night and the company is investigating the cause. By 9 am on July 27, the image of Guan Yu School left by the hacker was removed.

After receiving the information, VietNamNet contacted a technical expert representing VDC to verify the incident. This expert said: " After VDC technical department reviews and checks the system log-file, according to the initial judgment, this may be an error exploiting the administrative rights of customers using web hosting services. On the VDC, the link that the hacker has hacked and set the image to deface has a small scope, there is no significant effect on VDC's server system, and the entire VDC database system is still well protected and not affected ".

More than a week ago, on the afternoon of July 17, the website of VnMedia e-newspaper (under VDC) was also shut down for a few hours due to signs of hacker intrusion into the content management system and putting up a subject image. English phonetic name of the word Quan Vu (original name of Quan Van Truong). By the end of the day, VnMedia has returned to normal.
