Vebiz 2007: E-commerce is really changing

This morning (January 17), Vietnam E-Commerce Conference (Vietnam E-Business Forum - Vebiz 2007) opened for the first time in Hanoi. The website function is mainly about the company, accounting for 93.8%, product and service demos account for 62.5%, while the e-commerce transaction feature allows ordering only 27.4 %, online payment activities only 3.2%.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Director of E-Commerce Department, Ministry of Trade: ' The forms of e-commerce business are getting more and more popular. Online services also have new directions such as online advertising, online entertainment, online training, e-newspapers and value-added services for mobile phones. However, the decrees guiding the E-Transaction Law are still slow to issue. Some unreasonable regulations for e-commerce have not been overcome. Some new problems arise such as virtual assets, promotional emails, website attacks, etc. '

In the context of international economic integration, e-commerce is an essential tool in reducing transaction costs, saving time, thereby improving the competitiveness of businesses, as well as promoting economic integration. regional economy and general market participation rate. Therefore, the determination of policies, solutions, necessary conditions for e-commerce development, finding appropriate models for e-commerce in Vietnam is becoming urgent. Moreover, raising awareness of society, encouraging application and strengthening cooperation between the public sector and enterprises in this area plays an important role in the overall development. The first E-Commerce Conference in Vietnam was organized from these practical needs.
