Astronauts will live in an oxygen-conditioning and oxygen-carrying environment when they need to go out.

Scientist Ellen Stofan at the NASA Aerospace Agency (NASA) said astronauts cannot breathe in the Martian atmosphere due to oxygen and carbon dioxide levels other than Earth, according to Business Insider. They will live in a pressurized environment with oxygen and carry oxygen tanks when out.
