Starfish have 150 tubular legs on each wing, they move on land with tube legs below the body. This tube foot layer works thanks to a fluid-filled plumbing system . by compressing and sucking water.

This system also plays a role in helping them capture prey. Starfish have about 150 pipe legs beneath each "star wing". It is very rare to see starfish "walking" on land, because they live on the bottom of the oceans.

The scene in the video below was discovered by Zeb Hallock and returned when he was walking on the beach of the Outer Banks island group in North Carolina, USA.

Zeb Hallock said, this starfish is trying to find its way to the sea. It gets stuck at low tide.
