The US Aeronautics and Space Agency published a video about aurora phenomenon in the southern hemisphere recorded by the International Space Station (ISS) on June 25 when moving from south Australia to the southern Pacific, according to Popsugar.

Similar to the aurora north, aurora male appears when beams of green, yellow and orange light "jump" overhead due to the solar wind hitting the Earth's atmosphere. Southern aurora takes place in March-September while north aurora occurs from December to April.
