Video: Paper boat can carry people floating on the lake
Unlike small boats made from a folded piece of paper, this giant version is made of glue and duct tape to create certainty.
Engineers in England created a paper version of "origami" weighing 100kg that could carry an adult and float on the water. To make this seem impossible , engineers in the UK had to use a huge amount of materials and modify some traditional designs to ensure 100% of its usability. .

According to estimates, the boat weighs 100kg, 3.6m long, this 1.1m width is made entirely from 93m of white hard paper (equal to the length of a football field). The engineers chose a harder and more water-resistant paper than usual, because the boat would have to stay in the country more than the small version.
Besides, 150 meters of adhesive tape and 10 liters of glue are also used to keep the boat waterproof. To ensure the boat does not overturn, engineers have installed a wooden bar underneath the boat, and attached a plastic block to support the boat's tip with paper. Reportedly, this special boat was released by 50 students from Tottenham UTC at Southwark Boating Lake Lake (south of London) to celebrate the Big Bang Fair '50 countdown event .
