Video rare about giant paddle fish

Aquatic scientists from the University of Louisiana (USA) followed and returned to the image of an oarfish about 3 meters long swimming in the sea. This is the largest live fish ever discovered.

Paddle fish were discovered in the Gulf of Mexico waters via video recorded from a remote control submersible. This observation ship once returned to the image of paddlefish five times between 2008-2011.

In October 2012, a 4.5m long paddle fish drifted into Cabo San Lucas (Mexico), attracting a lot of people to watch. The longest paddle fish ever discovered is about 8m long. However, the researchers claim that the fish can grow to 15m long and weigh about 270kg.

Giant paddle fish was discovered by Norwegian biologist Peter Ascanius in 1772. Researchers have little information about this fish because they only live at depths up to 1000m.
