Catching the near-extinct fish worth nearly 10 billion
A Chinese fisherman has just proliferated after catching an impending fish worth 3 million yuan (nearly 10 billion dong).
The identity of this fisherman was not disclosed. He caught the massive 80kg Bahaba fish on the coast of Fujian province last week. A local merchant paid 3 million yuan to buy rare fish of special value in this medicine.
The Strait News newspaper quoted the fisherman as saying he saw the Bahaba fish swimming on the sea surface and quickly caught it. The huge size of the fish made the fishermen accompany him very shocked and they quickly realized the name of this fish.
The lucky fisherman also shared that he will use the new money to buy a new boat.
Bahaba fish can be up to 2m long and weigh more than 100kg. Its medical value focuses primarily on the bubble - which is used in traditional Chinese medicine remedies to treat heart and lung diseases. However, this fish has been hunted to the point of near extinction.
In 2010, Chinese fishermen caught a 50-year-old Bahaba in the south of the country and sold 3.45 million yuan.
