Video: The mixture helps China turn desert into cultivated land
Chinese scientists create a special blend that helps sand retain water, nutrients and air.
Chinese scientists have successfully studied the method of turning desert into a soil by creating a special mixture that helps sand retain water, nutrients and air.
This mixture is made from natural ingredients found in plants.
It takes about 6 months to convert 200 hectares of desert into a farmland that can grow many different plants.
This method not only helps China expand agricultural land and also significantly overcome the alarming desertification situation in this country.
This is the research result of scientists from ChongQing Jiao Tong University, China.
