Video: Visitors 'give birth to' sharks

A shark does not hesitate to give birth to a child right on the beach in front of many tourists.

Child-born hammer sharks at the coast in Florida, USA. The video posted on YouTube showed that a fisherman dragged a shark about two meters long into the shore. After that, many people gathered to watch and they were surprised to see so many sharks coming out.

After a period of struggle, hammerhead mother died. However, according to the characteristics of this species, postpartum sharks do not receive the care of their parents and they will swim towards the warmer water, then stay here until they are large enough and hunt themselves.

Hammerhead sharks, also known as hammer and shark, reproduce only once a year. Each litter, this species gives birth to about 12-15 young animals, large individuals can produce from 20 to 40 animals.

In 2007, scientists discovered that the hammerhead shark was thought to be asexual, meaning that females did not need male fertilization. This is the first shark known to have this special ability.

Food of hammer sharks is fish, squid, octopus, crustaceans, even fish belonging to their relatives.
