Vietnam actively participates in trade information security group

Patricia M. Sefcik, Acting President of the Personal Information Security Sub-Group of the APEC E-Commerce Steering Group (ECSG) told reporters at the SOM 3 conference that: Vietnam is now a member of the extremely involved in the Trade Information Protection Secretariat of 21 APEC member economies.

Patricia M. Sefcik said that the APEC Trade Information Security Group has only 13 key economies / total 21 participating economies. The goal of the Group has been to try to protect trade information confidentiality for customers and to provide reliable information, while avoiding creating unnecessary barriers to information flow.
