Mr. Pham Le Cuong, Director of QUACERT, said that traceability is an urgent requirement for businesses. Currently, the domestic market is under great pressure and importing countries always require transparency of information provided by enterprises about product supply chains.

Applying this solution, the information about the origin of the product will be systematically encrypted and cannot be intervened (edited) at the discretion of the enterprise when a problem arises. For example, information about the date of manufacture of a certain product or component at a given time, no one can delete that information for the purpose of benefit, even the owner cannot repair or change it.

The information will be collected and stored continuously throughout the production chain, able to accurately trace the origin of products for different purposes. Thus, enterprises exporting goods to European markets and countries with high requirements will have the basis to prove transparency and objectivity in product quality.

From the third quarter of 2019, the International Organization of Barcodes (GS1) to which Vietnam is a member requires all enterprises having exported goods to synchronously update all seven attributes of the goods into the database system. cloud data (iCloud). Seven attributes include: global trade code, product brand, product description, owner name, product image, target market, global product classification. If these parameters are not synchronized, the exporting or trading enterprises directly on the Internet will not be able to sell goods.
