Vietnam organized the international science and technology innovation competition

On August 19, Vietnam Technological Innovation Support Fund (VIFOTEC) held a press conference on "The 7th International Youth Science and Technology Exhibition Competition 2010".

It is expected that about 40 countries and international organizations with 700 participants in the contest and 200 booths will be displayed at Hanoi Cultural Friendship Palace from December 16-18. Particularly, domestic subjects will take the exam from September 21-26 in Hanoi.

This is the first time Vietnam has hosted this competition, the contest aims to arouse potentials and promote creative thinking of Vietnamese and international youth and youth.

Participants are all Vietnamese youth, teenagers, children and countries aged 6 to 19 with five areas including learning equipment; software; children's toys and toys for fun and entertainment; environmental protection solutions and energy saving solutions.

Mr. Le Xuan Thao, Standing Vice President of VIFOTEC said that there are 3,000 applications for patent applications each year, but Vietnam only has about 300 applications and only a very small number ( 20%) granted a degree.

In order to build Vietnam basically to become an industrial country, it is necessary to encourage youth, children and young people to create science and cultivate talents right from a young age.
