Connect the knowledge network for teenagers

Project: ' Pilot of informatics universalization, knowledge networking for Vietnamese youth ' has just been announced by Vietnam Youth Union on May 30 in Hanoi. On June 2, the project will have an official opening in Da Nang.

Mr. Tran Quoc Huy: " This is a pilot project, we want to promote the youth and the spirit of sharing the youth members with IT knowledge into many popular activities in this summer ." ( Picture of The Phong ).

Organized by the Central Committee, and approved by the Prime Minister in early 2006, the project will mobilize 2700 turns of union members - youth (students or officials) with IT qualifications of colleges, University and provinces, training. These volunteers were then reorganized into Saint Giong volunteer teams, (each team of 5 people) went to the localities to build informatics universalization classes for rural youth.

The representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union said that the project offers very specific objectives: Informatics universalization, knowledge networking for 27,000 young people aged 13 and over, in 270 communes of 9 city . For each 5-day class model, the contents of the transmission are mainly basic knowledge about computers, text editing and Internet exploitation.

Answering VietNamNet, Mr. Tran Quoc Huy, Vice Chairman of Central Committee of Vietnam Youth Union said: ' Universalizing informatics, promoting IT application is a big goal, the state and people work together, in specific conditions. This project, we can only conduct step-by-step universalization, support computer equipment to carry on teaching. When people see that IT brings many benefits, they will surely spread themselves to each other and buy computers themselves. That is the greatest success . '.

It is known that on June 2, here, the first meeting of the ' Pilot project for informatics universalization and knowledge networking for Vietnamese youth ' will officially be launched in Da Nang.
