Vietnam - US Workshop on water pollution prevention technology
From November 15-18 in Hanoi, the Vietnam - US Conference on Water Pollution Prevention Technology was co-sponsored by Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) and the Center for High Technology Research and Remote Medicine. .
The topics to be discussed at the workshop are water management and use, water pollution control, wastewater treatment technologies and strategies to enhance cooperation in this area between the US and Vietnam.
The purpose of the workshop is to strengthen scientific and technological cooperation in the field of environment, especially against water pollution between the US and Vietnam. Co-sponsors hope the workshop will be the foundation for a long-term cooperation between the scientific community of the two countries in the field of water environment.
Attending the workshop, there will be more than 100 delegates, including policy makers, domestic and foreign scientists, and representatives of Vietnamese agencies and organizations. Six scientists from top US universities will attend and present at the workshop.
