Vietnam - US cooperation on science and technology

On September 24, in Ho Chi Minh City, there was a seminar on cooperation between Vietnam and the United States in Science and Technology (Science and Technology). Electricity and Energy; High quality materials; Science and Technology Nano; Communication is the main topics discussed in the workshop.

Many Vietnamese scientists said that the workshop is an opportunity for Vietnamese scientists to meet with US partners to seek the possibility of cooperation and implementation of projects in the field of joint research, especially basic research field. At the same time offering solutions to be able to commercialize research products as well as put research results into production and apply in practice of Vietnam.

Speaking at the workshop, representatives of the United States had good evaluations on the content of cooperation in the field of science and technology of Vietnam and the United States. Accordingly, cooperation projects not only stop at the exchange of information and study tours but also have been enhanced with research, training, technology transfer, technology demonstration and support activities necessary equipment.

US scientists will have a visit and work with National University of Ho Chi Minh City and Ho Chi Minh City Hi-tech Park on September 25.

This is the second research cooperation seminar on this topic between Vietnam and the United States. (The first seminar was held on September 21 in Hanoi).
